OK, so it might seem like a joke (still a month until April1st) but Unotron are offering washable and surface sterilisable mice and keyboards. Not as wacky as it might first sound. Have a close look at the keyboard and mouse you're currently using - my guess is they may be pretty tacky as they seem to be magnets for grime and crumbs of digestive biscuits and Tayto. Now think about the mice and keyboards that need to be used in hospitals, pharmaceutical clean rooms and food manufacturing companies and these guys may be on to something with their SpillSeal range.
