File Sharing Risks

If you're a regular to this blog you have, no doubt, heard me expound upon the risks of file-sharing. This is using programs like Limewire, Kazaa, BitTorrent, Bearshare, Morpheus and others to obtain free music or films via the internet. I came across this article recently and anyone who has a PC connected to the internet should take the time to read it as it provides a succinct summary of the risks of using such software.

Some other links that provide details of file sharing risks are here, here, here and here.

I used to visit and read your blog and is very helpful and interesting to me.^^

Now I found a new program called Windows P2P Extension Pack and it turns my windows explorer into p2p enabled explorer.

I haven't experienced any P2P software that searches that incredibly fast.

it uses no more reasources then windows, searches are the fastest, downloaded first file faster then I could find the folder it went to.

I have used them all from searchlite back in the 80's to this and now I can get some needed hard drive space back by removing the rest this is the best, if you can use explorer then you can use this, no searching for servers, just right click on the file and click download

Now I need expert like you to review this program because I am going to write a article about peer to peer network and society behavior.

Frankly I am not the computer expert or profession. I am a novice to P2P and file sharing technology.

I found the program from CNET download site,

I will be very happy anyone can review this program and leave comments.

Tnank you
